UofM offering free online degrees for FedEx World Hub employees

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — More than 11,000 FedEx World Hub representatives currently have the chance to win a degree from the University of Memphis' online program — for nothing.

FedEx Express and the University of Memphis reported the new Learning propelled by FedEx program (LiFE) Saturday.

UofMGlobal is the college's online foundation, offering more than 60 graduate and college degree programs, plus programs and assets particularly intended to support adult returning understudies, including status appraisal, every minute of every day mentoring, the capacity to gain a secondary school equivalency certification, a holistic mentor and access to PCs and Internet.

FedEx Hub workers can take an interest from their first day at work, as long as they stay in great scholarly standing.

"We anticipate that the LiFE program will have any kind of effect in the lives of our colleagues, and we remain profoundly dedicated to supporting our locale here in the place where we grew up of Memphis," said Barbara Wallander, senior VP of Human Resources with FedEx Express.
